TO BRING: Blanket, pillow, rattle or drum, journal/pen, water bottle, something for the altar if you so choose. Beginning journeyers will learn how to travel to the Lower World to find your power animal and Upper World to meet your guides. The Michael Harner method will be taught — Suggested reading “Way of the Shaman.”
This is a mixed group of men and women, some people have been journeying for many years others are just learning. Everyone is welcome. This is a safe and respectful group and there are no substances used. I have been facilitating this group in the Comox Valley – Campbell River area for 7 years. No hallucinogenics are used.
My work in facilitating shamanic journeying circles and ceremonies began 15 years ago in Edmonton, AB. In addition to studying with the Shamanic Studies Institute, I have also studied with Martín Prechtel at Bolad’s Kitchen in New Mexico and explored ritual work with Malidoma Somé.
